❖ At any event, every so often, magic happens - something flashes alive.
Sometimes it's powerful and intense and dramatic, sometimes it's gentle and subtle. It's always fleeting.
For the person, they're the moments they remember, and the moments they want to be reminded of later, when the memory of them has dimmed with passing time. They're the moments they want to share with others. Those are the moments I wait for, the moments I seek to capture.
Inevitably, my approach is documentary, but the range of events to which I'm drawn is wide, including engagements and weddings, musical and theatrical performance, personal and family celebrations, and portraiture.
A sense of trust between you and myself is key and I always spend time with clients before an event so that you'll feel comfortable with my presence on the day. For this reason, I offer an initial one hour meeting, completely free of charge and without any obligation whatsoever, so that you can ask me questions, we can talk about your plans and get to know each other a little.
I feel it is important to bring a fresh approach to every engagement so I'm not a workaholic and love it when you choose to order prints as I can then take the results a step further to a create an image that really tells the story.
