My Approach
Having a wealth of experience in the documentary approach to photographing people and events enables me to capture many of those fleeting magic moments, but also gives me the flexibility to adapt my style to suit your vision.
Many of my clients want to create a unique event in their own personal way and have ideas about how they would like it to be photographed.
Often, the only options that you are given is in the choice of package: I think that it is much more enjoyable to allow you to bring your own creative ideas and to help you realize your personal vision.
I do feel that it is valuable to get to know each other a little beforehand - so that we're all comfortable with one another on the day, but also so that I have a clear sense of how the event is likely to unfold. Spending an hour or so with you at the venue beforehand, going through things in detail, is so useful that I give this time without charge.
Because I treat each shoot as unique, and also spend a great deal of time editing and retouching the photographs afterwards, I limit the number of events that I cover in any month.
